Active Shooter and Large Scale Incidents – A Civilian Response
The goal of this presentation is to educate the general public on various active shooter situations we have had in the United States, in addition to large scale incidents which have involved both shooting and IED events. The presentation will give case studies of various shooting incidents and the lessons learned, both by Law Enforcement and the individuals who were victims in the event. The goal is to prepare individuals and get them thinking about how they can better protect themselves if they should find themselves in such a situation. Participants will have a better understanding of the Law Enforcement response and hear from actual survivors from active shooter events.
