FBICAAA Donates "Trouble the Dog" to Lexington, MA

Allison Sjolund | Published on 8/25/2021
The FBI Boston CAAA, in partnership with the FBI Boston Community Outreach Program and The Kennek Foundation, donated "Trouble the Dog" stuffed animals and children’s books to the Lexington, MA Police and Fire Departments, making this the fourth community donation of Trouble the Dog by the FBICAAA.

Trouble the Dog is a global children’s character stuffed animal that helps comfort children who are going through a rough time. Police and Fire Departments keep them in their cruisers and trucks and when they come across a child in need of comfort, they give them the Trouble the Dog and book.  Not only does this help the children, but it help fosters trust between the community and our first responders.  Read more about how Trouble the Dog is helping children here.

A special thanks to The Stone Family Charitable Foundation for its sponsorship of this initiative and to former Board member Ed LoTurco for his work to make this happen.
